My work includes management, collaboration, instructional design, education, and consultation. I enjoy working
with faculty, instructors, and subject-matter-experts (SME's).
In my job at FSU, I work with faculty to create online course sites and with colleagues to create online
support. Some courses are fully online. Others are hybrids, replacing some of the face-to-face class time with online
learning assignments.
With faculty, I start "in the middle" by learning what model the person already uses so that
we can find a good fit with learning strategies and technology applications.
I hold in high esteem the work and people who have observed and reported on learning outcomes and strategies. While key
components are critical, it matters more to choose a model and use it, than to choose a particular model.
My early work with Dee Andrews on "Comparative Models of Instuctional Design" explains more about the applications
of models. This work has been discussed and cited in a number places including the following sites.

Home and Friends
"Home" means welcome, retreat, and peace. Home and office are located for central access to comunity life
and friends and I've used Feng Shui principles of design to add to the comfort of each.
My friends and I enjoy singing, walking, working out, painting, acting, reiki, yoga, dancing, art, theatre, concerts,
movies, "green space" and food!
